Thanks to our friend Steven, who is currently jobless, bored & waiting for a mission call, Ross and I have been able to make some great improvements to our yard. First up, this lovely mound of dirt.
I'm really bad at taking "before" pictures, so what you're seeing is actually the "after" photo. It's a beautiful sight, and if you've seen the massive, ugly bush that consumed this space before, you'll appreciate this open space as well. To give you an idea of what a massive job this was, here's a look at the root & a few of the branches he removed.
Steven also helped us out in the backyard. I asked him to thin the raspberry bushes (actually, it was more like a raspberry mass), and he took it upon himself not only to thin them, but to replant them in rows. They look fabulous. And don't worry Steven, they'll survive.
And thanks to all this help, I've been able to actually do a few improvements of my own on the inside. But you'll have to wait to see them. I'm not quite finished yet.

Love it, looks great.
Our raspberries are probably not going to make it. We got 3 baby chicks tonight. We'll post some pictures soon. :))
Who even knew that Steven was for hire? Seriously. You probably pay him better than I would though. I need some good raspberries!
